Christmas is not like it used to be..

OK so santas grotos, I remember when they were something special. Back when I was a lad the top floor of the Co-op the shoe department was reduced in size with a false wall added. Behind this false wall a GROTO was created with naff animated chars and fake snow. You had to walk through this before seeing santa it was an experience and something a little bit special. Nowadays every shop has a santa, the groto consists a badly hung blanket over santas head. The only reason the children want to see santa is because of the naff gift he gives them .. mutter .. mutter .. bring back the good old santas.
